On average, the amount of time it’s taking a Portland area homeowner to sell a home is 135 days- 4.3 months.

Closed sales went up 18.9% in November 2011 compared to last year. At November's rate of sales the active inventory in the Portland-Metro area would last about 6.2 months (if nothing new came on the market). This is the lowest active listings in the last three years. Sale prices are still falling, the median sales price fell 3.4% for the year. However, overall things are looking good if you want to sell your home.
