Village Realty Est. 1999

Village Realty, Inc. is a real estate company that was started by Marcus Fullard-Leo in 1999.  It was financed by Fairview Village Development Company, the developers of the Award Winning Fairview Village, which is a smart-growth community spanning approximately 135 Acres and has been built in many phases.

In 2001, Marcus Fullard-Leo and then agent, William Hartner, proposed to the principals of Fairview Village that two of them purchase the Company.  An agreement was reached and in the summer of 2001, the partners took the company in a new direction.  They focused on growing the real estate company, which had originally been formed for the sole purpose of providing in-house realty services to the rapidly completing Fairview Village Project; after which the developers had intended to fold the company.

Since their acquisition of the business, Fullard-Leo and Hartner have made it a goal of the brokerage to build a strong professional team in order to offer clients a broad base of service and expertise.  During its existence, the firm has offered a wide-range of services to include: Real Estate Sales (Commercial, Residential, and Business Opportunities), Consulting Services (Land Development and Financial Analysis), Property Management, and Market Analysis.

The firm and its agents are continually (on a per agent basis) one of if not the highest producer of sales volume in the East Portland Metro Area Real Estate Market.

In January 2004, the partnership attracted long-time real estate professional Brinkley Schedeen to their team.  Schedeen’s expertise as a developer, builder, and real estate sales person added to the strengths of the Company both in its overlap of existing skills as well as in the addition of some skills that had not been in the Company previously.  The Company admitted Schedeen as a shareholder in January of 2006.

Village Realty expects to focus on providing the highest level of customer service to its clients through an open-door communications policy.  Village Realty as an organization believes that it is not the job of its agents to make decisions for their clients; rather their role is to equip their clients with the best information possible so that the client can make the best, knowledge-based decisions for themselves.
