Marcus Fullard-Leo is the founder and principal broker of Village Realty Inc.  Marcus was originally licensed in Oregon in 1996 and currently holds real estate licenses in Oregon and Washington. Since starting Village Realty Inc., Marcus has taken an active role in development.  He was the primary listing agent of the Fairview Village project for many years and stepped down from that position to pursue the growth of his company and his personal investments.  Marcus has been involved in commercial property acquisitions and management of properties in Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, Florida, Georgia, Virginia, Arizona, and the country of Belize. Marcus is an advocate of continuing education for himself and agents in his organization.  He has completed and passed all of the training for the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Designation as well as that of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR). Marcus has had the honor of being one of the keynote speakers at the Annual Convention of Realtors speaking on the subject of marketing Smart Growth Communities. Not only does Marcus sell real estate, but he is an avid real estate investor in his own right and holds several pieces of real estate that are ripe for future development in addition to sundry rentals. Marcus is one of the principals in a townhouse community being developed in Sandy, Oregon.  The total build-out of the project is expected to be approximately 220 units.  Additionally, Marcus is currently involved in obtaining entitlements for a mixed-use, commercial-residential condominium development in Multnomah County, which will boast 56 total units when complete  Marcus also provides real estate consulting service on an hourly fee basis.  These services primarily center around financial analysis of investments, analysis of sub-markets, and coordination of efforts with professionals in the areas of tax planning, business entity structuring, and risk management. Marcus’ primary functions at Village Realty center around: (1) Administration of Human Resources; (2) Supervision of Agents / Real Estate Transactions; (3) Portfolio Management of High-End Clients; (3) Development; (4) Consulting.  Marcus makes a point of being “in the office” 5 to 6 days a week so that the agents working under his license can use him as an informational resource to better serve their clients. Marcus maintains an open communication policy with his clients and all clients of Village Realty, which was founded on the premise of agents working together to provide better service to the firm’s clients; as opposed to the industry norm where each agent (even in the same firm) competes against each other. Any client that is considering using Village Realty, Inc. for brokerage services should assume that Marcus will be involved in their transaction and is a part of their real estate team.
